Dear Chris and Robyn,

This letter is humbly presented to both of you in this tragic time of need. In spite of what "exploitive television media, irresponsible internet journalism, judgmental radio stations, gossip-mongering blogs, and sycophant endorsers" carelessly release into the world's atmosphere, we're here to let you know we don't appreciate it, we don't support it, we're disgusted by it, and we're not going to stand by and just watch as "the powers that be" thoughtlessly, invasively, and extremely unreliably publicly LYNCH the reputations of two of the most prominent young people this world's been exposed to. We're here to take a stand against the supposed "powers" and insure that they have NO POWER and NO SAY in this matter at all.

In spite of what the public misguidedly believes, in spite of the pressures fame and the music industry place upon you, in spite of the magazines, bloggers, and music networks' attempts at capitalizing off of your star power in both the best and worst times of your experiences together: YOUR LIVES, YOUR LOVE, YOUR RELATIONSHIP is YOURS.

As your fans, we do not condone violence of any kind; we also do not support the villainous judgment, mischaracterizations, or blatant lies being purported about either of you with no factual basis to support them.

As your fans, we will not be relegated to choosing sides, making careless statements about a matter as serious as abuse, making negative assumptions, committing false and ridiculous acts of support by shredding CDs and making irresponsible calls to ban your music when innocence has yet to be ordained as guilt, and clarity has yet to be provided on an incident that took place in your private lives.

As your fans, we will not be manipulated by those who sit at keyboards with the sole intent to bring out the worst in the human spirit, the radio personalities, the red carpet instigators, and talking heads who were so quick to expose and rush in praise of your relationship, only to just as quickly judge, demean, denigrate, and exploit it all for the sake of ratings, readers, and eyeballs. They build you up massively, only to break you down and rip you apart severely… But as Donnie McClurkin said, "We fall down, but we get up!"

As your fans, your TRUE fans, we are here to say we love and support YOU BOTH. We are praying for YOU BOTH. We are rooting for YOU BOTH and we are here for YOU BOTH. You do not owe the world a thing. You only owe YOURSELVES time, rest, peace, counseling, and spiritual recuperation.

As your fans, we do not tolerate the falsehoods and negativity perpetuated and promoted by all media for the sake of relishing in your personal tragedy. Your hearts will heal, your stars will shine, and your spirits will rise above this meaningless thing called fame. YOUR WORLDS ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN ALL OF THIS, and for that, we stand in solidarity with both of you and pray that you work through your private matters alone and that you each can reclaim your worlds, once again, as your own.
